5月1日
■祈晴祭(一日祭の後引き続き行う) 午前9時30分
大祭期間中の安全と共に 雨の降らない事を祈る祭典。
5月2日
■御鏡磨式 午後7時30分から午後8時
神輿に付ける鏡8枚を塩で磨き清める儀式。但し現在は磨いた後本殿に納める。
【目的】鏡とは己自身だけでなく己の心をも映し出す物であるということから、鏡を磨く事により神輿奉持者の心も磨き清める。
【由来】その昔は高価であると思われた鏡を神社に奉納し、神輿に乗せたその鏡を叩き、その音で魔を払ったとも思われる。魔除に使用する鏡を祭礼前に清めるのは必要不可欠な神事である。
5月3日
■山車の競演 午後6時から8時
欅並木に山車が約8台出てはやし立てる。
■競馬式(こまくらべ) 午後8時
旧甲州街道を一之駒から六之駒、6頭が150mの距離を3往復する。
【目的】国司時代より府中周辺に牧が多数在り、駿馬が多く産出された歴史を伝えると共に祭典の一環を為す。
【装具騎】手は烏帽子・直垂にて奉仕する。
5月4日
■御綱祭 午前9時
神輿に飾りの綱を掛け神輿をお祓いする祭典。この日にお祓いをしてから初めて綱が掛けられ御霊がお移りになる準備を終了する。
■萬燈大会 午後12時30分から2時
昭和54年(1979)より始められ、それ以前は各町内子供神輿の後に付いていた。現在は地元の青年会が中心となり、毎年制作する万灯の出来映えやそれを操る者の技、力強さを競い合う。
■子供神輿渡御 午後1時30分
子供神輿約20基をお祓いし、その後子供神輿が参道からけやき並木へと、町を練り歩く。
■太鼓の響宴 午後5時から6時
日本最大級の大太鼓が神社大鳥居前に揃う。力一杯に打つ音が府中の空に響き渡る。
■山車の巡行 午後6時から9時
大鳥居前の旧甲州街道とけやき並木を中心に、市内から24台の山車が囃子を競演しながら巡行する。提灯の明かりに灯された山車が幻想的な世界をつくりあげる。
5月5日
■例祭 午前10時
年中行事で最も重要な祭儀
■道清め 午後1時30分
神輿・太鼓の通る道をお祓いして歩く儀式。神輿の渡御に先立ち、その道すじを祓い清める。
■太鼓送り込み 午後2時30分
御先祓大太鼓を始めとする、各宮の大太鼓が各町内から、隨神門内と拝殿前に送り込まれる。約1時間ほどの間、威勢良く打ち鳴らされる。
■宮乃咩神社奉幣 午後2時
境内摂社宮乃咩神社に行き奉幣行事を行う
■御饌催促の儀 午後3時30分
細谷・浦野両氏により神前に供え、神饌の調理催促する儀式
■動座祭 午後3時30分
御霊を御本殿より神輿に移す事を神前に報告する祭典。(一般非公開)
■威儀物授与 午後5時20分頃
神輿の露祓いの意味で奉持する刀や弓を渡す儀式
■御霊遷の儀 午後5時20分
各神輿に本殿から御霊を移す神事
■神輿渡御 午後6時【くらやみ祭のメイン】
花火の合図とともに6張りの大太鼓が打ち鳴らされ、祭の最大の見所である「おいで」と呼ばれる神輿渡御が行われる。8基の神輿は白丁を身にまとった威勢の良い担ぎ手と大太鼓に導かれ、御旅所まで渡御する。
5月6日
■神輿還御(おかえり) 午前4時から8時頃
早朝午前4時に各神輿が御旅所を出発し、大太鼓に導かれ町内を巡行した後、午前7時半までに神社境内に還る。午前7時半から8時頃には8基全ての神輿が神社参道に揃う。
■鎮座祭 午前9時頃
還ってきた神輿から御霊を本殿に納め、無事大祭が終了した事を報告する祭典。くらやみ祭の終了となる。(一般非公開)

May 2
■ Mirror Mirroring From 7:30 PM to 8 PM
A ceremony to polish and cleanse eight mirrors to be attached to a shrine mushroom with salt. However, it now pays to the main hall after polishing.
【OBJECTIVE】 Since mirror is a thing that not only reflects myself but also my own mind, polish the mirror and cleanse the hearts of the mikoshi holders as well.
【Origen】 It is also believed that dedicated mirrors that were thought to be expensive in the past to the shrine, knocked on the mirror put on the shrine, and paid demons with that sound. It is an indispensable shrine to clean the mirrors used for the magic before the festival.
May 3
■ Confetti of the mountain cars From 6 PM to 8 PM
Approximately 8 planks come out in the trees and lazily.
■ Horseracing type (Komakurabe) at 8 PM
The former Koshu Highway from the Ichinomoto to the Six Pieces, and the six heads travel 3 times back and forth a distance of 150 m.
【OBJECTIVE】 A lot of pastoral fishes are present around Fuchu from the time of the national priest, and it is part of a festival as well as communicating the history that Fuma horse was produced a lot.
【Orbital Cavalry】 The hands serve in a staple and a stone.
May 4
■ The aquarun festival at 9 am
A festival hanging a decorative rope on a shrine and purifying a shrine. It is the first time that a rope is hung and the Spirit is ready to move after exorcising on this day.
■ Munakkōkaikai 12:30 to 2:00 pm
It began in 1979, and before that it was attached to each municipal mikoshi in the neighborhood. Currently, the local youth society is the center, competing for the workmanship of the million lights to be produced every year, the skills of those who manipulate it, and the strength.
■ Children shrine transoker 1:30 pm
Excuse about 20 children’s mikoshi, then a child shrine mikoshi walks from the entrance to the alpine trees and walks through the town.
■ Taiko’s Echo Feb 5 pm – 6 pm
The biggest big drum in Japan is in front of the shrine Otorii. The sound that strikes the fullest echoes in the sky of Fuchu.
■ Float traveling from 6 o’clock to 9 o’clock in the afternoon
Focusing on the former Koshu Highway and the Keyaki Namiki in front of Otorii, 24 mountain cars from the city compete while playing accompaniment. The floats lit by the lights of the lanterns create a fantastic world.
May 5

The most important ritual at annual events
Cleanse 1:30 pm
A ceremony that walks with exorcising the road through which the mikoshi and drums pass. Prior to the delivery of a mikoshi, exorcise its way.
■ Taiko Feeding 2:30 PM
Big drums of each temple, including Miyachi Hiroshige Taiko, are sent from inside each town, inside the Shrine Gate and Hayaseo. It is beaten frequently for about 1 hour.
■ Miyano Shrine Shrine Binnai 2 p.m.
Go to Miyanoga Shrine in Shinko prefecture and perform a ceremonial occasion
■ Ceremonial ceremony 3:30 pm
A ceremony to give Kamiya’s cooking by giving it to the priest by Mr. Hosoya and Urano
■ Moving festival at 3:30 pm
A festival to report the transfer of the Holy Spirit to the shrine from the main hall. (General not disclosed)
Awesome ceremony Around 5:20 pm
A ceremony to pass swords and bows that consecrate in the sense of purification of mushrooms
■ Ceremony of the Holy Spirit 5:20 pm
Shinto shrines transfer the Holy Spirit from the main hall to each mikoshi
■ Shinkomori passing 6:00 pm 【Mainly of the Kurayama Festival】
With the signs of the fireworks, a big drum of six tones is beaten, and the shrine transit called “Okayama” which is the biggest sight of the festival is held. Eleven mikoshi are led by a majestic carrying hand and daiko drum wearing a white paddle, and handed over to the travel agency.
May 6
■ Mikoshi return (Welcome back) around 4 o’clock to 8 o’clock
Early in the morning, each mikoshi departed from the travel agency, guided by the big drum, cruised around the town, and returned to the shrine’s premises by 7:30 AM. From 7:30 am to 8 o’clock, all the eight mikoshi are in the shrine’s approach to the shrine.
■ Seiza Festival around 9 am
A festival that pays the Holy Spirit from the returning mikoshi to the main hall and reports that the Great Festival was successfully completed. It will be the end of the dark festival. (General not disclosed)
