[:ja]岩淵八雲神社祭礼は東京都北区で開催されるお祭りです。八雲神社は全国各地に鎮座されていることから、区別のために岩淵と付けられています。創建年については古文書が残されておらず、はっきりと分かっていません。八雲神社では建束須佐之男命を奉っています。社が鎮座する東京都岩淵の地には面白く興味深い風習がありまして、とある理由から野菜のきゅうりを食べない人がいるとのこと。

きゅうりを食べない理由は諸説ありますが、主祭神須佐之雄命がかつて危機に瀕した際、きゅうり畑で難から逃れたのでした。このことから氏子は主祭神を救ったきゅうりを食べずに敬っている次第です。さらに社の蔵には勝海舟直筆の大幟旗が大切に安置されています。

さて岩淵八雲神社祭礼では本祭りと陰祭りが一年ごとの隔年開催となります。本祭りでは金色を基調とした配色に、黒の左三つ巴の神紋が目印の神社神輿の渡御が行われます。祭りの掛け声は「ホイッサ!ホイッサ!」ととても珍しいので、初めて聞いた人は耳に残るそうですね。ぜひ祭りの時には、氏子らと一緒に威勢よく掛け声を上げてみてください。意外と力が入る掛け声なので、長時間の神輿渡御の力となっているに違いありません。それから軽やかなリズムで演じられる神楽とお囃子の奉納も行われ、四代続く岡田民五郎社中の華麗な舞を観賞することができます。
