[:ja]五条天神社祭礼は東京都台東区で開催されるお祭りです。こちらも天神と社名にあるように、学問の神様である菅原道真公を相殿に奉っています。江戸三大天神の一つとされており、亀戸天神社や谷保天神社と肩を並べます。そして五条天神社は東京上野恩賜公園内に鎮座していまして、主祭神に医事神の大己貴命等を奉っていることから、健康祈願や病気治癒を祈願する参拝客が足を運んでいます。創祀は日本武尊が東征をする際に大己貴命と少彦名命の両神を上野忍が岡へと奉ったこととされており、現在の場所に遷座したのは1928年のことでした。

五条天神社例大祭では三年に一度、本祭りが開催されます。本祭りでは台輪寸法が三尺八寸の巨大な千貫神輿の神社神輿が上野公園から上野広小路一帯の氏子地域を巡行します。巡行では天狗の面を付けた猿田彦、巫女も現れまして、歴史絵巻さながらの行列風景が見られるでしょう。

千貫は約4,000キロの重さに及び、巡行は氏子らが仲間と歩幅を合わせながら進んでいきます。千貫神輿は直近では2017年に巡行が予定されていまして、さらに次回は2020年となるようです。三年に一度ですからぜひ足をお運びください。町神輿の渡御や神楽の奉納も行われますので、こちらへの参加もお忘れなく。[:en]Gojyu-jinja Shrine festival is a festival to be held in Taito-ku, Tokyo.
